Business Description: Provided a personalized, interactive news platform for consumers using the internet.
Business Problem:

Zatso's business model relied on internet advertising on its web site, but with the dotcom bubble burst internet advertising quickly evaporated. With no additional investment capital available, the company was forced to cease operations.

In 2001, Diablo Management Group (DMG) assumed fiduciary responsibility for the Zatso and immediately instituted a moratorium on all payments other than critical activities associated with selling the company, its products, and technology.

  1. Aggressively work to sell the Zatso IP
  2. Reconcile and confirm trade payables
  3. Notify all creditors
  4. Develop options to work with secured creditors
  5. Return leased equipment and negotiate settlements
  6. Vacate the facility
  7. File all required tax returns
